With recent news around coronavirus (COVID-19), we know you may have questions about how we can all do our part to keep the community healthy.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus), has caused illness for thousands of Michigan residents. Van Buren Community Mental Health strongly encourages people who are feeling ill to stay home and stay safe.

If you have an appointment scheduled, please call and cancel if you are experiencing the following:

  • Fever – temperature above 100.4 degrees
  • Cough/Runny Nose
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of taste and smell

These symptoms can indicate that you have an illness that could be spread to others. The Center for Disease Control recommends that you stay at home and recover from these symptoms to prevent sharing any illness with others.

Stay at home if you begin to feel unwell, even with mild symptoms, until you have recovered and been symptom free for 3 days.

Crisis intervention is available by phone:  800-922-1418.
